Eliza, Mary, and Gretchen create a non-judgmental safe environment to facilitate exploring the mystery and the crafting of songwriting, pushing through blocks and self-doubt to reach the depths of self-expression. They encourage students of all ages and genres to bring their songs “in any form of stage” to the workshop so they can woodshed with the pros and learn from and with other participants in the song circle.
The mountain setting in New Mexico is about as beautiful as you can find, and our days are sun-drenched and sage scented as we work indoors and outside on the shaded patio of the spacious adobe compound of Casa de Musica, coming together in the evenings to share songs and camaraderie in the living room. A simple coffee, tea and bagels breakfast and delicious catered lunch spread are included, and for dinner you are on your own to explore the many amazing eateries of the Arroyo Seco Village and Taos. Lodging not included. Song circle and jam sessions after dinner are encouraged.
